Every year, the district hosts an Earth Day activity for the local
fourth graders. We go to a local farm, and from there the kids
have eight stations of activities to go through. NRCS
personnel along with others in the community to teach kids to be aware
of sources of pollution, ways to conserve wildlife, and what happens in
different environments. It's a great day where the kids get to
learn about what our agencies do and what they can do as well. Click on the images below to see pictures from our events.
