Kelli Kramer - District Manager

Kelli started working for the district in 2007.  Originally from Evansville, IN, she moved to Iola after getting married in 2005.  She and her husband Mike just welcomed a new daughter, Carly, into their lives in November of 2007.  She earned her BA from Indiana University.

Tim Michael - Conservation Technician

A native of Iola, Tim began working for SCS/NRCS in 1978.  He enjoys being in the field and likes to work with producers on conservation projects.  He and his Cheri have three daughters, one son, and six granddaughters.  With the kids all gone from home, they spend their time working on flower and vegetable gardens.

Matt Powe - Supervisory District Conservationist

"I grew up on a small farm in Greenwood county near Eureka.  After graduating from K-State with a degree in Agronomy, I worked for a crop consulting company in and around Garden City for 7 years.  This job allowed me to learn a lot about progressive agriculture.  As a consultant I assisted producers with many facets of their operations including:  calibrating planters and sprayers, irrigation scheduling, recommendations of pesticides, and nutrient management.  I began my career with the NRCS in the fall of 2002 as a Soil Conservationist in Liberal, KS.  After working there for 1.5 years, i transferred to the field office in South Hutchinson, where I had the same title.  I was chosen for the District Conservationist position in Iola in Nov. of '05.  My wife Gina and I live in Iola and have three children, Audrey, Jarrod, and Evan.  I enjoy hunting and spending time with my family in my spare time."
